Overview
This new one day course will focus on a range of important respiratory and ENT topics.
In our opening session you will learn about rhinitis and how to approach this condition. The day will also cover the challenging presentations of chronic cough and wheezing in children.
There has been new guidance on COPD, and during the afternoon you will get an update on its key points and how to put them into practice.
Lastly, our expert speakers will talk you through common ENT problems encountered in primary care, as well as managing the patient with vertigo.
You will learn about:
- Rhinitis and its impact on asthma
- Chronic cough: "I've had this cough for 8 weeks doctor..."
- COPD: what's new?
- Wheezing in under 3s: "Does my child have asthma doctor?"
- Common ENT problems and red flags
- Vertigo and dizziness
- PLUS.... learning bites on how to use the adrenaline pen, oxygen guidelines and use, inhaler devices, and sleep apnoea.
