What will this session cover?

Developmental problems present in a variety of different ways throughout childhood. Prompt detection and intervention is of great benefit in all aspects of a child’s life, but there can be uncertainty about when developmental problems are present, and their relationship to physical, social, emotional and behavioural presentations. This webinar aims to guide GPs through this area with clear guidance and practical advice on how to help.

By the end of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Identify red flags for development and traps to avoid
  • Understand how behavioural and physical presentations can reveal developmental issues
  • Identify helpful intervention strategies pending specialist assessment.
