Overview
"...the Government will now establish improvement in quality and healthcare outcomes as the primary purpose of all NHS-funded care."
Secretary of State for Health, Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS, Department of Health, 2010
As the recent White Paper described, general practice is facing changing times with an increasing focus on your performance in the areas of quality and safety. All GP practices in England and Wales will be required to produce Quality Accounts from April 2011, and register with the Care Quality Commission by April 2012.
This masterclass, in association with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, will help you prepare for the challenges ahead.
Expert speakers will help you identify areas in your practice where you can improve quality and safety by working smarter, not harder. Throughout the presentations and small group workshops, you will learn practical new methods for measuring and improving patient safety and quality of care. Understand why our best efforts to lead change often disappoint, and plan a different approach for your current challenges.
You will leave the masterclass with greater confidence in leading your team effectively and with plans for improvement in your own surgery.
Come together with your practice team and save £50 each with our group rate for two or more delegates.
