Dr Anna Steel
ST5 Registrar Geriatrics and General Medicine, St Pancras Hospital
Dr Steel is a less than full time Registrar in Geriatrics and General Medicine in North London. She qualified from University College London in 2008 and has gained the last 10 years of medical training in and around London. Her core interests include frailty, end of life care and medical ethics with her quality improvement projects and publications focusing mainly around these topics. She also organises and delivers courses focusing on end of life care in Geriatrics. Dr Steel was awarded the British Geriatrics Society Rising Star Award in 2019.
Dr Steel was a member of the London End of Life Care Clinical Leadership Group 2014-2015. She has held the position of BGS NE Thames Secretary and BGS England Council Member since 2017. She has been the NE London Geriatrics Trainee Representative since 2017.
